The Manhattan Beach average sales price for 2009 was down 8% over 2008. However, during the same period 43 more properties sold. This is the first increase in several years and is a good positive sign that more buyers are in the market. The only section not to show an increase in number of properties sold was the Tree Section. In terms of average days on market, the number continues to increase across all sections of the city.
